Kids are invited to wear a Halloween costume (non-scary, kid-friendly, no masks, please) and participate in a costume contest. At 12:00 PM we will host carnival games and a trunk-or-treat.

ONE DAY FAQs

 

Ahead of time:

-Where are we meeting?

12148 Forrest Street in Arlington, TN

-What should I bring?

Camping chairs. Picnic blanket to sit on during lunch. Weather-related items (sunglasses, umbrella).

-What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing. An Advent shirt is great! Wear a hat if you want.

-Can I still invite a friend?

Yes! Please invite a friend. 

-What if it rains?

By 8am we will update the website adventpres.com. If we cannot gather outside, we will gather at the Cordova campus at 10:30am for worship, lunch, and games. 

-Will this service stream online?

No, it will not.

Day of Event:

-What about kids?

Kids should stop by the Advent Kids tent! They will worship with their families at the amphitheater. 

-Where are the restrooms? 

Restrooms are located on each side of the amphitheater.

-What is seating like?

Seating is wheelchair accessible. There is bench seating as well as grassy areas for camping chairs. 

-Can I pay for lunch?

You can pay the suggested donation of $5 per person at adventpres.com/oneday.

-Is there still lunch available if I did not sign up for lunch?

We think we will have some extra barbecue. After registered guests have gone through the line, it will be first come, first served.
