Investing in the Next Generation
As we embark on the next 50 years of Advent's adventure we need to think about what that will look like. The easiest starting point is with the youth who have grown up with Advent and will be with us through this next adventure. It is imperative that we invest in the youth in a way that is meaningful for them and will draw them closer to God rather than drive them away.

Almost 50 years ago our founding pastor, Dave Schieber, gathered a small group of people and began knocking on doors all over the new community of Cordova. Over the years, we have reached people far from God, built believers in their faith, and equipped every person to participate in God’s mission. Now, 50 years later… it is time to dream again.
