Instagram Families
We see so many perfect families on social media but we don't know the real stories behind the images. When Jesus called Simon and named him Peter (the rock) it wasn't because of a long resume but a deep insight into who Peter was. Peter didn't even behave much like a "rock" in much of the biblical account but he became the foundation of the emerging church. God calls each of us just as we are and not because of how we pretend to be.
