We worry a lot about having just the right balance at home but even Jesus didn't have a perfect hallmark childhood. In the first years of his life he lived in three different places as Joseph moved the family to Egypt to keep them safe from Herod. When they returned they could go "home" because of one of Herod's son's so they ended up in Nazareth. If Jesus can be born in humble beginnings and get uprooted several times as a toddler then God can work things out in our lives even if they aren't as perfect as we'd like.
