Rickey Peterson, originally from New Jersey, serves as the Pastor of The Bridge at Advent, where he is dedicated to fostering a Christ-centered community that bridges generations, cultures, and lives to Jesus. He holds a degree in Political Science from Shaw University and a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary, bringing a rich background in ministry, education, and leadership to his role.

Rickey‘s professional journey has included roles as a K-12 teacher and school leader, college professor, and community leader. Now residing in Memphis with his wife and two children, Rickey is passionate about shepherding people through all areas of their lives, empowering them to grow in faith, purpose, and meaningful connection within the community.
