Confirmation Class 2023

If your child is in 8th, 9th, or 10th grade, your child is eligible to be Confirmed as a member of Advent Church. To do so, your child is invited to take part in Confirmation Class 2023. Confirmation is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about their faith and make it real in their lives. It confirms what God has promised in their baptism and prepares them for full membership in Advent Presbyterian Church. In two Wednesday evening meetings and a free 24-hour retreat led by Youth Pastor Greg Aydt, students will grow closer to God and closer to each other.

This year, we’ll be meeting in person for our two gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 6p-730p on February 8th (at our Cordova Campus) and March 8th (at our Arlington Campus). The retreat will be February 24th at 6pm until February 25th at 6pm.

Confirmation culminates in taking membership vows before the church and showing a testimony video at both campuses.
